‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’ Ezekiel 37:1-14 The young man in front of you is dressed in black. Black hat, black overcoat and simple, serviceable work boots, on his nose is a thick pair of eyeglasses, the left lens chipped on the lower-right side. His rich beard fades to a sunburnt brown, under his coat bright white strings of cloth that appear from his waist to his knees. His hair is cut short, and two round, thick curls of shiny hair bob out from under his hat to his neck. This man’s smile is wide and welcoming, even under dire circumstances. On the middle finger of his left hand is a band of silver, and on his belt are slung a knife, a gun, and an old, dog eared copy of The Holy Bible.
